What kind of events does SERC host?

We host retreats, conferences, science camp, summer camp, confirmation groups, parish ministries, families, and other organizations.

What is required to reserve a date?

We require a contract and deposit. The deposit is $1000 or 10% of your final invoice - whichever is greater.

Do you have a pool?

Yes, our pool is seasonally available upon reservation. It is an hourly rental.

Do you provide food services for groups?

Yes, we have a professional kitchen staff. We can provide daily meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for any size group.

How may I visit the camp?

Please fill out the Contact Us Form to request a date to tour our facilities. We are available for tours seven days a week.

What forms do I need to bring to camp?

All guests entering SERC must complete an “Assumption of Risk, Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement” form. When registering for a specific camp the required forms will be available for completion online.

What is the insurance requirement?

We require each group to provide a copy of the “Certificate of Liability Insurance” indicating a minimum of $2,000,000 combined single limit general liability coverage as well as an additional insured endorsement naming SERC.

How far in advance do I need to book?

As soon as possible. Dates are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. We can put date inquiries on our calendar over a year in advance.

Do you have a priest on-site?

No. Priests are welcome, and we have private accomodations and linens for them behind the chapel if they accompany your group.  Groups need to provide all materials for liturgies.

Does the staff live on-site?

Our directors and caretakers live on-site year-round and some staff are at camp seasonally.
